Java Developer based in St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement applications using Test Driven Development (TDD) within a Scrum environment.
• Translate backlog items into engineering designs, technical user stories, and logical tasks in collaboration with the Solution Architect.
• Lead the Scrum team in adopting new technologies and processes.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical support to team members.
• Implement sprint backlog items and write unit, functional, and integration tests.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and JEE.
• Experience with Spring framework, including Spring AOP and Spring Security Module.
• Hands-on experience building RESTful services.
• Database management with Postgres and pgAdmin.
• Proven experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Ability to estimate backlog items and evaluate technical feasibility.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spring Batch.
• Experience with Apache Kafka.
• Familiarity with IntelliJ IDEA.
