You will develop, integrate, and maintain secure Java-based software solutions for state government health insurance systems.
Responsibilities
Transform software designs and functional requirements into secure, high-functioning Java code.
Create technical design documents and integrate individual software solutions with applicable systems.
Test code periodically, perform debugging, and execute upgrades to improve system security and efficiency.
Provide operations, maintenance, and production support, including the resolution of escalated customer issues.
Communicate technical updates to leadership and facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.
Required Skills
7 years of Java programming and development experience (or a Bachelor's degree in lieu of 7 years, or an Associate's degree in lieu of 2 years).
5 years of experience developing in Java using Spring MVC.
4 years of experience working with state government health insurance systems regarding insurance benefit enrollments.
4 years of experience in full-stack Java development and transactional systems.
4 years of experience providing operations work and production support.
5 years of proficiency with WebSphere, JPA/Hibernate, Maven, XML, JUnit, jQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Oracle database (including SQL), and SOAP/REST web services.
2 years of IBM Integration Bus (IIB) experience.
1 year of IBM ACE (App Connect Enterprise) experience.
Preferred Skills
3 years of StreamEDS experience.
1 year of Drools experience.
Experience with ACA health care systems, including tax information transmission to the IRS.
