Description

You will develop and maintain backend services for membership account management projects, focusing on high-volume data handling and system migration.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain REST API services using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Tomcat to process large datasets.
• Execute end-to-end migration of backend services and database platforms from Oracle DB to Azure Cosmos DB.
• Implement reactive programming to manage Azure Cosmos DB change feeds via listeners and stored procedures.
• Build data communication pipelines between backend systems using Kafka.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform bug fixes, and monitor system health using Splunk.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring framework.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining REST APIs.
• Experience with Kafka for backend data communication.
• Working knowledge of Oracle DB and database migration processes.
• Proficiency in testing tools including JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, Selenium, Mocha, and Chai.
• Experience with Git version control and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to use Jira for defect reporting and tracking.
• Experience with SonarQube for code quality and JMeter for load testing.

Preferred Skills

• Strong software design and architectural skills.
