Description

Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end services and data feed ingestion processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the discovery phase for medium to large projects to produce high-level designs.
• Direct the work of small engineering teams consisting of 3 to 4 engineers.
• Execute end-to-end service implementations, data feed ingestion, and orchestration.
• Troubleshoot business and production issues to ensure objectives are met.
• Develop engineering strategies, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills

• Minimum 6 years of experience with Java.
• Proficiency in Spring and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and Webservices.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases.
• Must be local to Sunnyvale, CA.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the retail industry.
