You will build and maintain scalable, secure backend systems and microservices architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
• Develop RESTful APIs and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
• Ensure code quality through modular design and comprehensive unit, functional, and integration testing.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software design, development, and automated deployments.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in RESTful API development and authentication protocols.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and Mock MVC.
• Experience with relational databases and complex SQL queries.
• Exposure to NoSQL databases like Cosmos DB and caching technologies like Redis or Memcached.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Splunk, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with event-based systems, distributed architecture, and clean architecture principles.
• Exposure to NLP systems and data science collaboration.
• Understanding of mainframe databases.
