Description

You will own the technical aspects of software development for assigned applications, working in a hybrid model in Sunrise, FL.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop large-scale Java backend applications and systems programs.
• Participate in all lifecycle stages, including analysis, build, and testing.
• Write JUnit tests, extend code coverage, and perform integration testing.
• Troubleshoot issues in test and production environments.
• Collaborate with product owners to prioritize features and manage technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building large-scale applications with Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with message streaming using Kafka.
• Proficiency in writing unit tests with JUnit and Mockito.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Gradle, Maven, and Unix shell scripting.
• Solid understanding of RDBMS, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with SonarQube for code quality and log4j for logging.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud environments (public or private), Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Performance tuning for sub-second response applications.
• Knowledge of Dynatrace for monitoring and troubleshooting.
