Description

You will design, deploy, and manage scalable API solutions using AWS and Apigee.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy RESTful and HTTP APIs using AWS API Gateway.
• Develop API proxies, policies, and manage security permissions and request/response transformations.
• Build unit test cases and perform data validations for services.
• Design data models and normalized schema contracts, liaising with teams for component testing.
• Maintain scalable API solutions integrating with external services.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, specifically API Gateway.
• Familiarity with Node.js and Python.
• Experience with JSON, XML, and XSLT for payload management.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation and GitHub.
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apigee API management.
• Background in designing normalized schema contracts.
