You will develop and maintain backend services using modern Java versions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Java 17 or 21.
• Work with XML and JSON data formats for messaging and storage.
• Manage version control using Git and BitBucket.
• Write technical documentation for developed features.
• Participate in Agile workflows using Jira.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 17 or 21.
• Experience with XML and JSON.
• Hands-on experience with Git or BitBucket.
• Working knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle or DB2.
• Experience using IntelliJ or VSCode.
• Proficiency with AI code assistance tools like Copilot.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Jira.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka or MQ.
• Domain knowledge in Payments.
• Knowledge of ISO 20022 payment message standards.
