Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java and Python, owning the full lifecycle from code to production.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts.
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications across AWS, Azure, and on-prem Kubernetes clusters.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
• Design and interact with SQL and NoSQL databases while ensuring performance and data integrity.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience delivering software applications.
• Core Java and Microservices development proficiency.
• Expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and Azure environments.
• Proven ability to build and expose public APIs.
• Experience implementing Kafka-based, event-driven services on Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with CI/CD principles, specifically Jenkins and GitLab Runner.
• Familiarity with distributed computing patterns, including fault tolerance and partitioning.
• Ability to contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using Terraform or Ansible.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline.
