Description

You will own the backend development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and maintenance of scalable microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy microservices using the Spring Boot framework and RESTful APIs.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code and conduct unit and integration testing.
• Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues across the software development lifecycle.
• Coordinate with development managers to define project phases, milestones, and delivery timelines.
• Perform peer code reviews and ensure adherence to quality and security standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Java programming.
• Strong proficiency in the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience building RESTful web services and APIs.
• Working knowledge of databases: MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with streaming systems like Kafka.
• Understanding of JSON and YAML markup languages.
• Experience with SonarQube, Veracode, or Datadog for quality and security scanning.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and microservices architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloud platforms for microservice deployment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and provide accurate technical estimates.
