Description

You will lead the technical design, development, and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platform distributed application systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and documentation of distributed application systems and logical processes.
• Analyze system specifications and translate requirements into task specifications for junior programmers.
• Perform system analysis, debugging, and repair of legacy code to ensure performance and accuracy.
• Conduct Level 2 application support by investigating code, debugging issues, and collaborating with Level 3 teams.
• Design and develop programming systems with a focus on system performance and cost-effective solutions.

Required Skills

• 10-12 years of total professional experience.
• Extensive experience with Java (version 7 or higher).
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Experience with Big Data tools.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience in distributed application development and multi-platform toolkits.
• Proven ability to conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance diagnosis.
• Experience with production support, including monitoring, change management, and incident management.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Storm or Spark.
• Experience with the ELK Suite.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics and Splunk.
• Previous experience in Level 1, 2, or 3 application support.
• Financial industry experience.
