Design and deliver event processing, alerting, and analytics systems for Global Markets Equities Data.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop distributed, high-volume, multi-threaded event processing systems.
• Build large-scale, fault-tolerant systems using Core Java within an agile setting.
• Apply object-oriented design principles to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Develop robust alerting and analytics solutions for high-velocity data streams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of recent Core Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Object Oriented Design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.
• Experience working with Object Oriented Databases.
• Proven ability to develop distributed, multi-threaded systems.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Storm and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with DevOps models and Ansible.
• Background in the financial industry.
