Description

You will build and maintain backend services using Java and the Spring ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
• Design and optimize database schemas in MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Manage code versions and collaborate using Git.
• Debug complex issues and resolve technical debt.
• Communicate technical decisions clearly to the team.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8 or higher.
• Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Proven track record building REST APIs and microservices.
• Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with version control systems like Git.

Preferred Skills

• Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
