Description

You will own the development and delivery of Java-based financial services applications, translating business requirements into technical deliverables within a controlled SDLC environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using SQL and Unix environments.
• Manage job scheduling with Autosys and handle messaging integration.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables.
• Manage software changes and documentation using JIRA and established change practices.
• Apply deep understanding of asset classes and trading concepts to support financial systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Java.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Unix scripting.
• Experience with job scheduling tools, specifically Autosys.
• Deep understanding of financial services, asset classes, and trading concepts.
• Proven ability to work in controlled environments with strict SDLC adherence.
• Intimate knowledge of JIRA and software change management practices.
• Technical documenting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GitLab Duo or AI-driven development environments.
• Stock Loan experience or exposure to Open API Standards.
