Description

You will develop and maintain backend services using Java, Scala, or Python.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage REST APIs and messaging interfaces.
• Implement data processing logic using big-data technologies.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries involving joins and aggregations.
• Integrate messaging systems like Apache Kafka into existing workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional programming experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python.
• Strong experience with REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka, Active MQ, or AWS.
• Knowledge of big-data frameworks like Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Apache Storm, or Presto.
• Proficiency in SQL, including various types of joins and aggregations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate-level education.
