Own backend development using Java and the Vert.x framework.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write solid, hands-on Java code for backend services.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs.
• Implement data streaming and messaging solutions using Kafka.
• Manage batch processing and Linux-based programming tasks.
• Support deployment workflows through CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Hands-on expertise with the Vert.x framework.
• Strong proficiency in Java coding standards.
• Experience with backend API programming.
• Working knowledge of Kafka.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.
• Ability to perform batch and Linux programming.
• Must be located in Phoenix, AZ.
