Description

Own the DevOps toolchain and release pipeline for the Signify IoT Platform, enabling engineering teams to build, debug, and secure microservices-based cloud infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain horizontal DevOps tools, CI/CD architectures, and monitoring frameworks for source control, performance, and security.
• Define software libraries and common frameworks that support scalable, highly available microservice architectures.
• Troubleshoot production issues, ensuring quality, performance, and security SLAs across the IoT Platform.
• Collaborate with architects and product managers to translate system requirements into tested software solutions.
• Provide guidance on best practices for distributed systems, network security, and data persistence.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a focus on cloud-based SaaS/PaaS systems.
• Strong Java development skills (preferably Java 1.8+), including proficiency in Python.
• Deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, Fargate).
• Proven experience designing and deploying microservices and complex distributed system architectures.
• Strong understanding of network security, data persistence (relational and NoSQL), and non-functional requirements like scalability and latency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field.
• Experience working in Agile environments for at least 3 years.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Golang or JavaScript (NodeJS).
