Description

You will develop and maintain backend services for customer-facing web and mobile applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build REST API services using Java, Spring, and Hibernate to manage large datasets.
• Execute end-to-end migrations of backend services and databases from Oracle DB to Azure Cosmos DB.
• Implement reactive and adaptive programming to handle Azure Cosmos DB change feeds via reactive listeners and stored procedures.
• Build data communication pipelines between backend systems using Kafka.
• Monitor application health and debug production issues using Splunk dashboards and queries.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB.
• Experience with Kafka for data communication.
• Proficiency with Hibernate and Tomcat.
• Knowledge of REST API design and implementation.
• Experience with Selenium and TestNG for automation testing.
• Familiarity with the full SDLC in an Agile environment.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity (2-3 days on-site) in Sunnyvale, CA or Seattle, WA.
