Description

You will design and implement scalable caching and messaging solutions within a Java ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Review existing Oracle Coherence cache setups from producer and consumer perspectives to identify optimization opportunities.
• Implement strategic, scalable, and reliable caching patterns using Coherence, GridGain, and Redis.
• Develop and maintain microservices and REST endpoints using JEE frameworks.
• Integrate messaging technologies including ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ.
• Manage service discovery, load balancing, and resiliency patterns within the architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development, specifically with Java 1.8.
• Expertise in Oracle Coherence caching and messaging.
• Strong proficiency in Object Oriented Design.
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and JPA or other ORM frameworks.
• Experience building SOAP webservices and Microservices/REST endpoints.
• Knowledge of messaging technologies such as ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ.
• Experience with authentication protocols including OAuth and OAuth 2.
• Proficiency with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Understanding of DevOps concepts, Jenkins pipelines, and open source cloud technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) using JUnit and Mockito.
• Familiarity with code scan tools such as SonarQube, Veracode, or Prisma Scan.
