Description

You will design, build, and operate microservices within a production environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain frameworks, libraries, tools, components, and connectors.
• Design REST APIs and implement RESTful web services.
• Design data persistence systems using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Develop multi-threaded applications following 12 Factor principles.
• Manage service operations within a microservices architecture.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Java 8 and multi-threaded development.
• Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Microservices architecture and Netflix OSS.
• REST and SOAP web services.
• SQL and NoSQL data persistence.
• Kafka, RabbitMQ, or MQ messaging systems.
• Gradle, Unix, and GitHub.
• CI/CD, Postman, and JSON.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of Platform as a Service (PaaS).
