Description

You will build backend services and automate data workflows using Java and Apache Airflow.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Java backend applications for performance and scalability.
• Design and implement data pipelines using Apache Airflow to integrate various data sources.
• Monitor and manage Airflow workflows, including scheduling and error handling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues within Java applications and data pipelines.
• Implement unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure software reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Core Java and object-oriented principles.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for managing data pipelines.
• Experience with Spark, Kafka, and Spring Boot.
• Working knowledge of Hibernate or similar Java frameworks.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) and SQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git or Jenkins).

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
