Description

You will design, develop, and deploy applications using Java and Spring Boot in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• Own the full development lifecycle from initial analysis through deployment and post-production defect fixing.
• Build and maintain code delivery pipelines using ANT, Shell script, Maven, Gradle, and Jenkins.
• Develop microservices using Docker containers on OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
• Implement TDD, BDD, and static code analysis to ensure delivery quality.
• Integrate services using Web Services, REST, and EJB.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application design and development using Java and Spring Boot.
• 2+ years of experience with microservices architecture and Docker containers (OpenShift/Kubernetes).
• Experience with front-end technologies including Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Proficiency with SQL (RDBMS) and MongoDB.
• Experience working in Agile or Scaled Agile environments.
• Hands-on use of Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
• Competency with IDEs such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, or VSCode.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Strong experience with MongoDB and RDBMS.
