Description

You will develop and maintain payments applications hosted on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain payments applications using Java and cloud technologies.
• Host and manage applications within AWS environments.
• Optimize application performance and improve system resiliency.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Collaborate with software engineers to deploy applications into production.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices expertise.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, EKS, and EC2.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of core design patterns and large-scale systems design.
• Ability to create UML diagrams such as sequence and class diagrams.
• Implementation of security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK stack.
• Experience building or maintaining cloud-native applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
• AWS or Google Cloud professional certifications.
