Description

Design, develop, and support financial modeling applications while owning the release pipeline and reducing technical debt.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop clean, high-quality Java code with full automated unit and integration test coverage.
• Fix defects and address technical debt to maintain software development best practices.
• Translate financial business requirements into feature delivery.
• Coordinate with teams across different infrastructure layers and assist with upgrades.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong background in building scalable applications using Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate.
• Experience with Kafka and the Netflix stack.
• Proficiency with REST API design, development, documentation, and testing.
• Experience with build and integration tools including Gradle, Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
• Deep understanding of application, data, and architecture design patterns.
• Financial acumen to understand business requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with web front-end languages and frameworks.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL Server, Sybase, Redis, and MongoDB.
