Description
Build and maintain web applications using a mix of object-oriented and functional programming paradigms.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain web applications using Clojure and Java.
- Develop solutions within an agile framework, collaborating with Product Managers and Technical Leads.
- Implement test-driven development (TDD) practices to solve complex problems.
- Deploy applications to Kubernetes (k8s) environments.
- Integrate external APIs and manage payment system processor APIs.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience building web applications.
- Proficiency in Clojure and Java syntax and nuances.
- Experience with microservices and monolith application development.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with version control using Git and GitHub.
- Proficiency with JIRA for issue and bug tracking.
- Hands-on experience working with external APIs.
- Experience deploying applications to k8s.
- Background in working with payment systems and processor APIs.
