Description

Build and maintain web applications using object-oriented and functional programming paradigms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Clojure and Java within an agile framework.
• Implement test-driven development (TDD) practices to solve complex engineering problems.
• Deploy applications to Kubernetes (k8s) environments and manage microservices or monolith architectures.
• Integrate external APIs, including payment system processor APIs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building web applications.
• Proficiency in Clojure and Java syntax and nuances.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with version control using Git and GitHub.
• Hands-on experience working with external APIs and payment systems.
• Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with JIRA for issue and bug tracking.
