Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend systems and data pipelines using Java and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs using Java.
• Build and enhance backend services ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Databricks and Scala.
• Integrate AWS services, specifically S3, for cloud-based data storage and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within production systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Java API Developer.
• Expertise in Java web services, including REST and SOAP API development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS technologies, specifically S3 for object storage.
• Proven experience with Databricks for data engineering and pipeline maintenance.
• Proficiency with Scala and Parquet file formats for efficient data processing.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Solid understanding of backend principles, API security, and cloud architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python for data manipulation, automation, or scripting.
