Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and data pipelines using Java, AWS, and Databricks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs using Java.
• Build and enhance backend services ensuring scalability and security.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Databricks and Scalar.
• Integrate AWS S3 for data storage and cloud infrastructure tasks.
• Write clean code, execute unit/integration tests, and optimize system performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Hands-on experience with Java web services (REST/SOAP).
• Proficiency with Databricks for data engineering tasks.
• Experience with AWS, specifically S3 for object storage.
• Working knowledge of Scalar and Parquet file formats.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex backend systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python for data manipulation or automation.
