Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and data pipelines using Java, AWS, and Databricks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs using Java.
• Build backend services ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Databricks and Scala.
• Integrate AWS S3 for cloud-based object storage and data management.
• Write clean, documented code and execute unit and integration tests.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Java API Developer.
• Expertise in Java web services, specifically REST and SOAP API development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, specifically S3.
• Proficiency with Databricks for data engineering tasks.
• Experience working with Scala and Parquet file formats.
• Strong understanding of backend principles, API security, and cloud architecture.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex distributed systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python for data manipulation, automation, or scripting.
