Description

You will build and maintain microservices using Spring Boot on Google Cloud Platform, deploying to GKE and managing Kubernetes clusters. Your work includes optimizing load balancing, ingress, and backend performance while integrating third-party APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and deploy microservices using Spring Boot architecture and Java.
• Deploy applications to Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and manage Kubernetes clusters.
• Design and deploy API proxies on Apigee X and Apigee Edge to connect client and target systems.
• Monitor and optimize backend performance, identifying bottlenecks and improving server resources.
• Integrate with third-party APIs, handling authentication, data exchange, and error handling.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency with Spring Framework for building RESTful services.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, specifically GKE, Cloud SQL, and AppDynamics.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining API proxies on Apigee X and Apigee Edge.
• Experience with Kubernetes cluster management, load balancing, and ingress control.
• Ability to debug issues on the Apigee Gateway and troubleshoot backend performance.
