Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend services using Java, GCP, and Apigee.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RESTful services using the Spring Framework.
• Design and develop scalable backend systems for web and mobile applications.
• Deploy and maintain microservices using Spring Boot on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Manage API Proxies using Apigee X and Apigee Edge for client and target system connections.
• Troubleshoot and optimize backend performance within the Apigee Gateway Monitor.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Expertise in Java and building microservices.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services, including Cloud SQL and AppD.
• Proficiency with Apigee X and Apigee Edge for proxy management.
• Experience deploying and maintaining clusters on GKE.
• Strong ability to integrate with third-party APIs, handling authentication and error management.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot architecture.
• Experience with cloud computing technologies.
