Description

You will build and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Groovy, and the Grails framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise applications using Java/JEE and the Grails web framework.
• Integrate Grails backend code with front-end JavaScript frameworks and jQuery.
• Develop and consume RESTful Web Services using XML and JSON.
• Manage application deployment and execution using Apache Tomcat and Unix environments.
• Implement messaging and data persistence using JMS, SQL, and RDBMS concepts.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of Java/JEE development experience in an enterprise setting.
• 3+ years of experience with Groovy and the Grails web framework.
• Experience with jQuery and front-end JavaScript integration.
• Proficiency with XML, JSON, and Web Services.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and RDBMS concepts.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Tomcat and Unix.
• Familiarity with SDLC processes and Agile methodologies.
