Description

You will design and develop software solutions for the Guidewire InsuranceNow application, focusing on integration points and system dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze high-level system specifications and convert them into low-level design plans and technical requirements.
• Develop moderate to complex software modules using Java, MySQL, XML, and HTML in adherence to development standards.
• Design and implement stored procedures and database interactions within MySQL environments.
• Conduct unit and system integration testing to verify functionality and resolve defects.
• Document design decisions, code modules, and performance metrics, and participate in development walkthroughs.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience with the Guidewire InsuranceNow application is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming for application development.
• Deep knowledge of MySQL, including complex queries and stored procedures.
• Proficiency in XML and HTML for data integration and web interfaces.
• Ability to analyze system dependencies and integration impacts independently.
• Experience with full software development lifecycle, from design to testing.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Familiarity with insurance industry workflows and IT applications.
