Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications using Java and related technologies.
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, and production support.
• Build and maintain REST APIs, backend services, and scalable application components.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technology teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Follow engineering best practices for code quality, automated testing, application resiliency, performance, and operational support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues in production environments.
• Contribute to application modernization, continuous improvement, and Agile delivery initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing and supporting REST APIs and backend services.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and coding best practices.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, and data access technologies.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and CI/CD practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Exposure to Elasticsearch and Angular.
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted applications and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience with observability tools and OpenTelemetry.
• Background in financial services or other large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting production applications and improving system reliability
