Description

Build and maintain web applications and REST APIs using Java and AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and customize MongoDB applications to meet specific requirements.
• Develop web applications and REST APIs using Java and the Spring Framework.
• Implement database updates and manage data migrations.
• Debug and troubleshoot application and database issues.
• Analyze databases to advise on performance optimization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, and the Spring Framework.
• Proficiency with MongoDB, including application design and optimization.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or MS SQL Server.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, specifically AWS.
• Experience with version control and CI tools like Jenkins.
• Working knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Big Data platforms such as Cassandra, Hadoop, or Marklogic.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
