Drive development activities and build a self-sustaining team for the NextGen platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Operate through the entire Software Development Life Cycle to deliver production-grade software.
• Design architecture, model business processes, and handle legacy migrations on Java Application Platforms.
• Build and monitor dashboards to track system availability, resilience, and performance.
• Manage application flow using a deep understanding of EMR/EHR systems.
• Integrate NextGen as a third-party tool for various healthcare applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience writing production software in Java.
• Expertise in Jakarta EE and J2EE platforms.
• Hands-on experience with NextGen integration.
• Proficiency in developing RESTful WebServices.
• Experience with JUnit for testing.
• Proven ability to manage architecture design and application support.
• Experience working on projects spanning multiple organizational departments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or a computer science-related field.
