Description

You will lead the modernization of legacy Angular codebases and develop scalable backend services.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead the upgrade of legacy Angular applications to the latest versions using standalone components, signals, and functional services.
• Design and implement backend services using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Refactor and enhance Oracle PL/SQL queries and stored procedures to improve performance and support business logic.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend teams, QA, and DevOps to deliver maintainable code.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and peer reviews within an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience, including Spring Boot and REST API design.
• Deep Angular expertise, specifically in upgrading and refactoring legacy versions.
• Proficiency with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including schema design and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, RxJS, Angular CLI, and SCSS/CSS.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments like Docker.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using JIRA.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
• Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience with JUnit, Jasmine, and Karma testing frameworks.
