Description

Build and maintain Java-based applications and POS systems in Austin, TX.

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of core Java applications and POS infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features, while identifying bottlenecks and bugs to devise technical solutions. You will maintain code quality, organization, and automation through regular code reviews, ensuring application performance, quality, and responsiveness.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with POS systems and payment processing.
• Proficiency in Java SE/EE and Spring Framework.
• Experience with Hibernate and RESTful web services.
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or React.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
