Description

You will design and build reusable technical solutions and components within a large enterprise environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Code, conduct code reviews, and participate in architectural design discussions.
• Build generic libraries and components for easy integration and minimal upgrade effort.
• Guide project teams through the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Implement headless REST APIs and service-oriented architectures.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, QA, infrastructure, and senior management.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Java and related frameworks.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Spring, including Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Batch.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive, and the related ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of Java/J2EE, core APIs, multi-threaded/concurrent programming, and JSON.
• Proficiency in Scala, including Scala EE and Unit/Integration testing frameworks.
• Experience with Git, design patterns, and Service Oriented Architecture.
• Working experience with Autosys or similar job scheduling platforms.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, and large enterprise application requirements like security and entitlements.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Cloud application development.
• Experience with Unix/Linux and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of financial markets, document platform-based products, or wealth management.
