Description

You will build and maintain data-intensive applications using Java and Apache Spark. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot microservices while evaluating upstream and downstream system impacts.
• Optimize Spark queries and tune performance to handle large-scale Big Data workloads.
• Build and consume REST APIs, ensuring speed, efficiency, and scalability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, application resiliency, and security best practices in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for Big Data processing.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Practical knowledge of AWS services.
• Experience working with Kubernetes and Unix environments.
• Ability to write scripts for automation or data tasks.
• Understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with React for front-end integration.
