Description

You will design and develop Java-based microservices, owning the full lifecycle from coding to production support. You will build event-driven architectures, mentor peers, and ensure system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of Java/J2EE microservices applications
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka or MQ
• Conduct code reviews and mentor developers on best practices
• Translate business requirements into technical designs with architects
• Resolve production issues and optimize system performance

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture, REST APIs, and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with Kafka/MQ (producers, consumers, streams, error handling)
• Proficiency in MongoDB, including data modeling and performance optimization
• Deep knowledge of design patterns and architectural principles
• Ability to explain technical designs clearly to stakeholders

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
