Description

Design and develop Java-based microservices, owning the full lifecycle from coding to production support.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of Java/J2EE microservices applications.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka or MQ.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor developers on best practices.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs with architects.
• Resolve production issues and optimize system performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka/MQ (producers, consumers, streams, error handling).
• Proficiency in MongoDB, including data modeling and performance optimization.
• Deep knowledge of design patterns and architectural principles.
• Ability to explain technical designs clearly to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
