Description

Develop and maintain Java-based software applications, focusing on RESTful APIs, backend services, and database performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain applications using Java, Spring, and MVC architectures.
• Implement, host, and debug RESTful web services and APIs.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, performing performance tuning in Java and Oracle DB.
• Manage data persistence using JPA and Hibernate.
• Develop interactive front-end components using JavaScript, jQuery, or modern frameworks.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in the software development life cycle.
• 2+ years of experience with Java and MVC.
• 2+ years of experience with Spring framework (Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Spring Batch).
• 2+ years of experience with Oracle DB.
• 2+ years of experience with jQuery and JavaScript.
• 1+ years of experience implementing and debugging REST/API web services.
• Hands-on experience with SQL performance tuning.
• Experience with JPA and Hibernate.
• Experience with React/Redux or Angular.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
