Description

You will bridge the gap between Java development and DevOps practices to manage software systems, enhancements, and bug fixes.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and development of software fixes, enhancements, and components.
• Drive development through your own work and the work of subordinate engineers.
• Lead programming, testing, debugging, and end-to-end troubleshooting efforts.
• Review and write code to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Create documentation and tools for installation and maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable software systems.
• Strong background in Java development and proficiency with Spring and RESTful Web Services.
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices using Jenkins and Maven.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Rancher for container orchestration.
• Knowledge of AWS infrastructure.
• Understanding of Kafka for event streaming.
• Proficiency with Git.
• Any graduate degree.
