Description

You will design, develop, and implement microservices and middleware enhancements throughout the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain middleware modules following strict code quality and security standards.
• Fix security vulnerabilities and manage open-source component updates to ensure policy compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while proposing preventative measures.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation in Confluence or SharePoint.
• Use SonarQube for static code analysis to maintain high code quality.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.
• Deep expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
• Experience building RESTful services and APIs.
• Frontend experience with React.
• Working knowledge of RabbitMQ or similar message brokers.
• Proficiency with Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience with JUnit for unit testing.
• Build and dependency management using Maven and Nexus.
• Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
• Version control and management using GitLab.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Splunk for logging and auditing.
• Background in the Finance or Banking industry.
• Experience with Postman for API testing.
