Description

You will own the development, testing, and enhancement of multiple interfaces and applications within the JIS ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test code while supporting test cycles and post-production stability.
• Document legacy system code and approaches using flow diagrams.
• Design and document technical approaches for major use cases prior to implementation.
• Implement unit and integrated tests in legacy systems using JUnit and Mockito.
• Provide accurate task estimates within a Scrum development process.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Java Engineer covering applications, integration, and solutions.
• Expertise in Java 8+, Spring (Framework, Data JPA, Security, Scheduler), and Hibernate (JPA, Validator).
• Experience with J2EE (EJB, JSP), JSF (PrimeFaces), and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in developing scalable, secure Java SOAP and REST service APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle 12C or higher, XML, HTML, and slf4j.
• 4+ years of experience migrating between frameworks and working with legacy monolithic architectures.
• 3+ years of experience with microservices architecture.
• 2+ years of experience with event-driven architecture and distributed event streaming platforms.
• Experience with reverse engineering, refactoring code, and JUnit/JMeter testing.

Preferred Skills

• Court case management experience.
• Proficiency in PERL.
