Description

You will develop and maintain server-side applications within financial systems, owning the full software lifecycle from design to production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, debug, and test new and existing software programs.
• Initiate system analysis and design for software solutions, including architecture requirements and interface considerations.
• Research, assess, and resolve program issues and complex hardware/software compatibility problems.
• Provide production systems support and problem-solving for major routines and utility programs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in server-side and database application development using Java.
• Experience programming REST and RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of database concepts and RDBMS such as Microsoft SQL or Sybase.
• Experience with Unit testing (JUnit) and TDD/BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin).
• Background in financial systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and Agile workflows.
• Experience with AWS and container technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with message queuing technologies including RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or Kafka.
