You will own the development and maintenance of enterprise-grade cloud-native applications, leading complex backend projects and mentoring teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices and REST APIs using Java 8+ and J2EE standards.
• Architect and optimize complex SQL queries for Oracle Database to ensure high performance for data-heavy workloads.
• Lead end-to-end development lifecycles, including code reviews, test strategy development, and operational issue resolution.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on AWS or Azure, utilizing platforms like PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry).
• Apply SOLID, DRY, and Single Responsibility principles to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on Java development experience, with deep expertise in J2EE and enterprise application design.
• Strong proficiency in building distributed systems, microservices architectures, and RESTful web services.
• Expert-level SQL skills and extensive experience with Oracle Database.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization/orchestration tools.
• Working knowledge of modern data streaming and messaging tools such as Kafka, NiFi, NATS, and Zookeeper.
• Familiarity with caching (Redis), NoSQL databases (Cassandra), and monitoring tools (Splunk).
• Proven ability to simplify complex integrations by creating common libraries and interfaces.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading technical initiatives and collaborating across distributed teams.
• Background in performance optimization and establishing engineering best practices.
