Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based microservices at internet scale
• Build asynchronous reactive microservices using Vert.x and Spring WebFlux
• Develop and expose REST APIs using Spring Boot 2.0 (reactive) with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications
• Design database schemas, index strategies, and perform query tuning and optimization
• Write clean, maintainable code and actively participate in peer code and architecture reviews
• Apply Test Driven Development practices across the software lifecycle
• Collaborate with engineering teams using modern tooling including Git workflows, Gradle, and load testing frameworks

• Java 11 — Lambdas, Streams, Completable Future, Optional, Generics
• Spring Boot — WebFlux, Reactor 3, Spring Data, REST
• Reactive and functional programming in Java
• Vert.x for asynchronous reactive microservices
• OpenAPI / Swagger specification
• NoSQL database design and optimization
• Cloud technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Jaeger, Prometheus
• Messaging systems: Kafka, MQ
• Modern tooling: Git workflows, Gradle, mock frameworks, load testing tools

Preferred Skills
