Description

You will develop and maintain reactive services using Java and the Spring ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement functional and reactive programming patterns using Java 8 and Spring Boot WebFlux.
• Design and secure RESTful APIs following Swagger specifications.
• Conduct API performance testing and analyze heap and thread dumps to ensure stability.
• Manage build processes and deployments using Gradle and Git workflows.
• Monitor system health and metrics using Grafana and Prometheus.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Java 8 features including Lambdas, Streams, Completable Future, Optionals, and Generics.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot WebFlux (Reactor 3) and Spring Data.
• Strong understanding of functional and reactive programming paradigms.
• Experience implementing GoF Java design patterns.
• Competency in API Design, Swagger, and API Security.
• Proficiency with testing tools such as Curl and Postman.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB or Couchbase.
• Comfortable working in a Linux command line environment.

Preferred Skills

• Deep expertise in Java 8 concurrency and asynchronous processing.
